Support Local Pet Rescue Efforts

Looking for a furry friend to become a part of your family? Consider adopting a dog or cat from the City's Animal Control or the local animal shelter. Call City Hall at 850-342-0153 to inquire about adopting a pet from the City or call The Jefferson County Humane Shelter at 850-342-0244 to see what pets they have. Both facilities always have pets that are in need of a second chance in a good home.

Whether it is a local farmer's market, main street shops, or hidden gems off the beaten path, shopping local sustains our community and supports local merchants. We all make Monticello better together!

Planning to remove a tree? Check to make sure it does not require a permit. It may even be protected. Contact City Hall if you are unsure.

City Hall is open Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm.
The utilities (water/sewer) office is open 8am-4pm Mon-Fri.
Payments made or dropped off after 5pm will be applied the next business day.
