Fire and Emergency Medical Services

Jefferson County Fire Rescue provides fire response, basic and advanced life-support services, and patient transport services to residents in both the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the County. 

There are also a number of Volunteer Fire Departments located throughout the County, including the Monticello Volunteer Fire Department.
