Police Chief

The Monticello Police Chief is a position elected by the citizens of Monticello.  Listed below are just a few of the responsibilities of the Police Chief:

• Overseeing the performance of the Monticello Police Department and its budget
• Maintaining safety within the city limits of the City of Monticello
• Ensuring that all Federal, State and Local laws are being followed
• Working with other State and Federal Law enforcement agencies
• Responding to citizen complaints and City Council requests
