The City Council of the City Council of Monticello, Florida met in special session on September 21, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall for the Final Millage/Budget Hearing. The following members were present:

Tom Vogelgesang, Mayor

John Jones

Idella Scott

George Evans

Linda Butler

Others present were:

Emily Anderson, City Clerk

Steve Wingate, City Manager

Fred Mosley, Police Chief

Mayor Tom Vogelgesang called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to conduct a public hearing and adopt the final millage rate and budget for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. Linda Butler gave the invocation. Mayor Vogelgesang led the Pledge of Allegiance.

RESOLUTION 2009-12 ADOPTION OF FINAL MILLAGE FY 2009-2010

George Evans made a motion to adopt Resolution 2009-12 adopting a final millage rate of 6.1000. The motion was seconded by John Jones, and was passed by unanimous vote. Mayor Vogelgesang noted no members of the public in attendance.

RESOLUTION 2009-13 ADOPTION OF FINAL BUDGET FY 2009-10 Mayor Vogelgesang noted no members of the public present. Idella Scott made a motion to adopt Resolution 2009-13. The motion was seconded by George Evans. Council Member Linda Butler confirmed a capital outlay expenditure for a vehicle for the city manager. The motion to adopt Resolution 2009-13 was passed by unanimous vote.

There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned.
